Professional free skiers Kaj Zackrisson and Sverre Liliequist had lots of time to kill. When traveling the Rockies searching for the best skiing around they spent day in, day out in their minivan going from Aspen to Whistler. From Jackson to Vail. And then back again. Sverre was looking for a way to make the time pass and also to find a beanie with the right fit and a smart look. Luckily enough Sverre mastered the nobel art of crocheting. His handicraft infected his brother in arms Kaj and soon an underground cult took off. Beanies in all shapes came out from the van and spread among the freinds.
